Clandon Park
Client: National Trust
Location: West Clandon, Guildford, Surrey
Timeframe: 2023 – ongoing

Destroyed by fire in 2015, Clandon Park was left as a shell of its former grandeur. The project calls for a complete reimagining of the stately home experience, shifting away from traditional heritage narratives to create a space where young audiences can explore the past, present, and future in a more inclusive and dynamic way. Through innovative interpretation, the project encourages creative self-expression and directly addresses challenging historical topics such as colonialism and slavery. We are working alongside Pimentel and Partners to bring this vision to life. RIBA Stages 2 and 3 of the interpretation design are now complete, with Stage 4 currently in development.
