Timeframe: 2019 – 2022
As part of a major redevelopment led by Event Communications, Phaedra Corrigan directed the interpretation strategy and content development for the Hong Kong Museum of History. The project encompassed six permanent chronological galleries and five temporary thematic spaces within a 127,200 sqm site. The new interpretation offers a nuanced and inclusive retelling of Hong Kong’s complex history, using layered storytelling and immersive environments to engage diverse audiences. Construction is now underway, with the museum scheduled to reopen in 2025 as one of the region’s most significant cultural destinations.
